Citizenship Mentoring Circles

The Community Connections Mentorship Program’s Citizenship Mentoring Circles are offered at various locations. This is a 10-session mentoring program, covering eight topics for the newcomers to learn more about Canada. All sessions are facilitated by our trained Citizenship Education mentors. Every participant will be matched with one mentor to ensure learning exposure. Our Citizenship Education Mentors help new Canadians to discover and appreciate Canada. During the 2-hour circle time, mentors help improve participants’ vocabulary and boost their confidence in speaking English by engaging them into vivid conversations around the topics.
