Technology is advancing at a rapid pace. We rely on computers for everything from cooking to organizing our taxes. An understanding of computer basics is invaluable, and CultureLink offers a free Computer Literacy training course to help you get started.
Learn how to scan, print and download documents. Discover online tools to find an apartment or a job. We’ll show you how to create and manage an email account. You will walk out of these Computer Literacy sessions knowing how to use MS office and a printer.
10-session Computer Literacy Training Program
Sessions are every Tuesday from October 15 to November 26, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
You will receive one-on-one support from mentors and access to a variety of services such as employment counselling, mentorship programs and workshops.
To participate, you must 1. be a permanent resident or convention refugee, 2. be able to commit to attending all 10 sessions, and 3. have English CLB level 3 and above.
