Come join us for arts based volunteer opportunities! Newcomer youth ages 12-24 are welcome!
This workshop serves all youth ages 16-29, prioritizing newcomer, immigrant, racialized, LGBTQ+ and underserved communities
- Session 1: Leadership Skill Exploration & Social Innovation Idea Generation: Youth explore their leadership potentials and engage in brainstorming session to identify capacity for social innovation
- Session 2: Community Building Strategies: Youth will learn strategies for outreach and identify resources for their social initiative
- Session 3: Self Advocacy and Peer Support Skills: Youth learn skills and tools for effective communication and practice active listening skills with peers
