Contribute to the restoration of the Black Oak Savannah, a continentally endangered ecosystem. Come and plant native species with us. After planting we will go for a walk through the Savannah and marvel at 150-year-old Black Oak trees. We will learn what makes them a treasure from the past and what we can do to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy them.
The group will meet by High Park’s main entrance: on the corner of Colborne Lodge Drive and Bloor Street West.
REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY due to the limited capacity. Contact Rubeen at NEATWalks@culturelink.ca for more information.
Note: This is a rain or shine event. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
