Keeping the Connection

For more than three decades, CultureLink has helped newcomers connect to Canada. Connect to their community. Connect to education and jobs. Connect to each other.

With the arrival of COVID-19, that link was put at risk. Borders were closed. The people we serve were stuck at home, many of them isolated. It was harder for our staff to interact with them.

But CultureLink adapted. We transformed the way we serve newcomers across the board. Our offices were closed but our staff was making connections remotely. Our services moved to online platforms. We went above and beyond to stay connected and keep our clients connected as well.

A point of connection we always look forward to is our annual AGM, a night in which we celebrate our partners, our staff, our clients and everything we have been able to achieve together throughout the year. This year, though we had to gather virtually, it was wonderful to see so many people connecting with us. And we want to keep that connection going.  For that reason, we are launching a new fundraising campaign called Keeping the Connection.

Keeping the Connection celebrates the stories of the people we have helped in these unprecedented times.
