A series of Storytelling Workshops for Immigrant Women from CultureLink’s Anti-Racism Action Program (ARAP).
Weekly sessions are designed to engage racialized newcomer women over 40 years of age in personal narrative, storytelling and drama.
In order to tell their stories, participants will cultivate digital literacy and social media skills, including tools such as Canva and Instagram.
The program will culminate with the publication and launch of a Project Book with participant narratives and story exhibitions at Toronto History Museums.
We welcome newcomer women from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Tibet, The Philippines, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Caribbean countries, Syria, Somalia, Eritrea, Ethipia and other African countries.
