The Awards are our way to honour an outstanding staff member, client, mentor and organization, for their contributions to CultureLink, our clients, and the community during the last Fiscal Year (April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025).

Staff of the year – only front-line staff who were active during the fiscal year 2024-25 are eligible for the award.

Client of the year – any program client who received services during the fiscal year 2024-25 is eligible for the award.

Mentor of the year – any mentor who was involved with a CultureLink program during the fiscal year 2024-25 is eligible for the award.

Employer of the year – any organization that supported CultureLink and our clients through employment-related opportunities during the fiscal year 2024-25 is eligible for the award.

Note:

• All nominees must be invited to attend the Annual Celebration.
• The winners must attend the Annual Celebration and agree to have their image recorded as they receive the award and give an acceptance speech.

After the nomination period closes, for each category, a Committee will review and rate the nominations based solely on the responses received about the nominees. 

Note:

• For client, mentor and employer, in addition to filling in the Nomination Form, your nominee(s) must fill out a Testimonial Form.
• The testimonials will count in the review and rating of nominations.

Only front-line staff can submit nominations.

For the Staff Award, you can only nominate one person. There is no limit to the number of nominations in the other categories. 

Note:

• When submitting the 2025 Staff of the Year Award  Nomination Form, you can choose to stay anonymous, your name will not be recorded.
• For client, mentor and employer, your name will be recorded for contact purposes.

Voting starts on August 18 and is open until September 4th at 6:00 pm.

All Award winners will be announced the week of September 15th.

All Awards will be given at our AGM, on September 23, 2025.
