In collaboration with Let’s Hike Toronto and Ontario Land Trust Alliance (OLTA), we’re taking newcomers on a wintry hike along the Humber River, through Étienne Brulé Park, a historical area with Indigenous and Colonist history!
We will meet at Étienne Brulé Park (steps from Old Mill Subway Station), and start our hike. We will cross the beautiful Old Mill Bridge and continue through Étienne Brulé Park, following Humber River north.
This is a loop hike that ends where it begins, for a total of ~5km.
Be prepared for some slippery and uneven trails, with snow and/or ice. Good boots with traction are helpful. ice cleats and/or walking sticks are recommended, if possible.
