Newcomer Youth Success

The Newcomer Youth Success program provides information and orientation sessions about topics important to youth, including education, career pathways, volunteerism, financial management, health care, and opportunities to participate in local recreation and culture.
Community Connections activities – arts-based, recreation-based – are designed to connect them to other newcomers and to the broader community. Participants gain new skills and have the chance to earn community service hours.
The program also offers tailored support Employment Programing to assist teens and young adults with their job search, providing one-on-one employment counselling, workshops on job search skills, support with resumes and interview techniques, networking events, and connecting with them employers.
