Made by Youth is an art-based, youth-led volunteering program. Participating youths will research topics and issues that they feel are important & relevant to newcomers and immigrants in Canada. They will then create artworks of various mediums (drawing, painting, poem, writing, infographic,…) to address these topics. The artworks will be used to decorate our community space.
Another part of the Made by Youth program is for youth to help us create content for our social media platforms and help us run CultureLink events & programs.
This program is a great opportunity for students to earn their community service hours.
The program will run weekly, every Wednesday, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, registration is ongoing.
Public transit fares and light snacks will be provided to all participants.
