Do you have immigration questions? Are you applying for refugee status? Are you unsure about your rights if you don’t have legal status in Canada or are unsure about how to sponsor a family member? We can help! We offer free immigration orientation services by appointment, and our youth services workers can guide you and if necessary, accompany you to the Refugee Board. We keep all of your information confidential. Please contact Carolina at 416-588-6288, ext. 240 to set up an appointment.
We also provide assistance for newcomer youth in job searching, filling out school and scholarship applications, getting referrals to appropriate programs and services, finding housing, applying for Ontario Works, getting a work permit and lots more! After-School Activities – Wintegration Program
Newcomer youth between the ages of 14 and 24 attending high school in Toronto are invited to join our Wintegration Program. As a Wintegration participant you will have the opportunity to attend after school programming from September to June. Registration starts in early September 2011. Participants in the Wintegration Program Get To:

After-School Activities – Global Roots Garden
The Global Roots Garden is an opportunity for Newcomer Youth to learn gardening, cooking and environmental skills. Youth work with senior newcomers to grow their own gardens and harvest the vegetables too! Participants receive and honorarium. The program runs from May to October. Registration starts in March. After-School Activities – Taking Green Roots – Female Identified Youth
A program just for female identified youth! Make new friends, try cool activities and learn about environmental issues. Registration required. For more information contact Carolina at cgala@culturelink.ca or 416-588-6288 ext. 240.
LGBTQ Programming
Queer Arts Network (QAN) is a group for LGBTQ newcomer youth, their friends, and allies! Express yourself through art, poetry, music, the spoken word, or other forms of art/multimedia!
